Naturepedic introducing new renewable polyethylene foam baby mattress
June 13, 2017
Braskem of Philadelphia, a leading thermoplastics resins producer, has partnered with Sealed Air Corp. and with organic bedding producer Naturepedic to launch a new formula for renewable polyethylene foam, KidsToday reports.
The new renewable polyethylene foam technology uses bio-based resin made from ethanol, a renewable and sustainable resource produced from Brazilian sugarcane. The first application of the renewable polyethylene foam will be in Naturepedic’s crib mattresses, but a release date has not been given.
