Crate and Kids (Formerly the Land of Nod) is releasing a lot of  cool kids stuff for summer. I have always been a fan of their kids' outdoor furniture and this Sand and Water table is just so beautiful. How often do you find a sand and water table that is modern looking and not hideous? And it is also quite functional because of its looks. With sturdy metal construction, not to mention a solid wood cover, this outdoor favorite can hold up to 50 lbs. of play sand. The lid also doubles as a play surface when not being used as a lid.

The Land of Nod is closing all of its retail stores, however they are not closing down completely. Unlike Giggle, the Land of Nod will keep its online store open. In addition to that, Crate & Barrel stores across the country will be carrying a limited amount of Land of Nod items in store.

Sadly this is yet another bad sign for retail. 2017 was the worst year in store closings ever, but 2018 may not be much better as people continue to shop online more and more.
